Manufacturer: Zero Tolerance

I’m a HUGE fan of ZT Knives, because of their quality. My preference for pocket knives is small, so I hesitated when I saw the size of the Zero Tolerance Coyote Knife.

The ZT 0308 knife measures 8.9 in. (24.1 cm) and weighs 6.9 ounces. It has a beefy frame lock flipper with a large and in charge 3-3/4” long blade. When folded closed the knife measures 5.2 in. (13.2 cm).Zero Tolerance Knife 0308

Handle Construction

The handle is machine textures that provide a decent grip, even with wet hands. The front handle scale is coyote tan-colored, high-pressure fiberglass laminate, and another handle side is silver-colored titanium.

The front end of the handle, you’ll find a quarter-inch solid pivot with a custom nut that can be adjusted out in the field using a .5-inch wrench.

A reversible tip-up belt clip allows the knife to sit love in my pocket which I prefer.

ZT 308 Fit and Finish

This knife is extremely well made and durable and the blade is thick, sturdy and strong. This knife was built to leave to your children or grandchildren. It’s not a cheap knife. Like all  ZT knives, it’s fit and finish is second to none.

This knife sells online for approximately $300.00.

Overall Thoughts – Zero Tolerance Coyote Knife

The Zero Tolerance Coyote performed well on all deployments, which is no surprise for a ZT product. This knifes performance is yet another example of the dedication Zero Tolerance wishes to provide to its users.

After wearing and using the knife for a bit I personally think its too big for my reference.  I could constantly feel the knife when ascending stairs or bending at the waist. Its larger frame size also telegraphs through your pocket pant material.

While this knife is not for me, I know several people who prefer larger knives.  If also would be a great backcountry, hunting or camp knife.

I am happy to recommend the Zero Tolerance Coyote Knife those looking for a durable, practical, and attractive EDC knife. This knife demonstrates a very satisfying blend of Kershaw’s meticulous craftsmanship, premium quality, and everyday functionality.
