MILWAUKEE, WI- Milwaukee Tool has expanded its leadership in cutting solutions by introducing a line of pocket knives built to deliver uncompromising performance and extreme wear resistance. The new Hardline™ pocket knives are the everyday carry solution that provide ultimate durability on and off the jobsite.
“While most professionals carry utility knives to help accomplish specific jobsite tasks, many also carry a pocket knife for use throughout the day. Users are tough on their pocket knives and expect them to hold up to demanding applications,” said Bobby Shaw, Vice President of Product Marketing for Milwaukee Tool. “With this in mind, we set out to deliver a pocket knife solution with a blade that can withstand hard use, but also includes features that make it the perfect knife to carry all day long.”
Designed from the ground-up to deliver extreme wear resistance, the new Hardline™ pocket knives are constructed with a D2 Steel blade. This extremely hard steel is used for the most demanding jobs, and allows the blade to hold its edge longer, providing extreme wear resistance under the toughest use, reducing the user’s need to sharpen. Each knife features a stone washed black oxide finish that provides rust protection.
A Flipper with Bearing System provides fast, smooth one-handed opening to maximize productivity. A Steel Frame Lock delivers a strong, secure hold during use. For added versatility, each knife also includes a reversible tip up belt clip.
The new Hardline™ Pocket Knives will be available in four different sizes and styles to meet a wide range of needs and preferences: 2-1/2” Drop Point Smooth Blade, 3” Drop Point Smooth Blade, 3” Serrated Tanto Blade, and 3-1/2” Recurve Drop Point Smooth Blade.
