Makita has been adding to their 12 volt line up and recently added a jigsaw. The Makita 12 Volt Cordless Jigsaw appears to be compact, have better visibility and certainly worthy of attention. We’re trying to get on in the TBB workshop to evaluate and review.
If your like me you’re looking at tools a different way. I want a tool that will get the job done, faster and easier and also weigh less, and produce less wear and tear on my body. Sounds easy right? We the 12 volt line is certainly a lighter compact line that gets many of those jobs done.
The new Makita 12 Volt Cordless Jigsaw weighs 3.7 pounds, delivers 0-2,400 strokes per minute, has a variable speed dial and 3 orbital settings plus a straight cutting setting.
A through-the-body dust port connects to a vacuum for saw dust management, and a built-in dust blower helps clear the line-of-cut for better cutting applications.
