Milwaukee M18 Fuel Braking Grinder

Just recently the crew from Tool Box Buzz took part in the Milwaukee NPS2015 (New Product Symposium) at there headquarters in Milwaukee Wisconsin.  Over all, Milwaukee unveiled more than 80 new products which are set to come out between August 2015 to the first half of 2016.

Milwaukee continues to revolutionize cordless power tools with their introduction of the world’s first cordless braking grinder solution. This grinder has the ability to stop accessories in under 2 seconds and delivers up to 10x longer tool life. The M18 Fuel Braking Grinder is the only cordless braking grinder on the market today that has this technology as well as the power to grind.

Jobsite Safety

Milwaukee continues to design tools with user safety as a major priority. Director of Milwaukee Tool Corporation Andrew Plowman quoted the following:

 Same Design w/ New Features

The new cordless braking grinder features the same legendary metal housing and gearing system as their corded counterparts, continuing to deliver high performance grinding on the jobsite. A removable Job Site Armor, screen placed to prevent debris contamination overtime, is featured to maximize durability.

The M18 Fuel is also a 100% tool free product. From adjusting the guard to replacing accessories, all the changes can be easily changed without a wrench by utilizing the FIXTEX nut. An anti-vibration handle reduces vibration, increases comfort, and reduces fatigue during extended use. Perfect balance is achieved through the extremely thin body design which rests easily in the users hand.

Availability

Milwaukee plans to release this braking grind sometime in July of 2015.  It will be sold as either a bare tool, Model 2783-20 or as a kit , model 2783-22. The kit will include: M18 Braking Grinder, (2) M18 Redlithium XC 5.0 Extended Capacity Battery Packs, (1) M18 /M12 Multi-Voltage Charger, (1) FIXTEC nut, (1) T27 Wheel Guard and Carrying Case.
