Power source: 18v ONE+Ryobi recently released a large number of tools including these scrubbers. The Ryobi P4500 ONE+ 18V Cordless Telescoping Power Scrubber and P4510 ONE+ 18V Handheld Cordless Power Scrubber were sent to use for review. Ryobi also has a full line of outdoor power equipment including some kick-ass snowblowers.

Tough Enough for the New England Weather
The weather in New England is notorious for wreaking havoc on our vehicles. It’s 65 degrees today, and it’s snowing tomorrow to keep up with the band. All of the road salt that is sprayed on our vehicles makes them unbelievably dirty. Keeping your cars, vans, or trucks clean is really difficult. The Ryobi power scrubbers are ideal for thoroughly cleaning your automobiles. I let the filth built-up (my wife called me lazy. but there was a method to my madness) but these scrubbers handled it. With the P4500 Telescoping Power Scrubber, those tall tough, hard-to-reach spots are not a task to get.
Pivoting Head
The Ryobi P4500 Telescoping Power Scrubber has a push-button pivoting head. The push-button is easy to operate and has a six-position head. It was tricky finding that “sweet spot” angle to get into the tight-to-fit areas while washing the F150.
IPX7 Water Resistance Rating
The Ryobi Scrubbers are water-resistant to IPX7 standards. This means they can be immersed for 30 minutes in water up to 1 meter deep. The battery port is protected by a watertight cover that latches shut.
Telescoping Handle
For those hard-to-reach spots, the P4500 includes a handle that telescopes to 51″. A twist locking mechanism loosens to allow the handle to be extended. This feature isn’t particularly noteworthy. It works, however, a lever-style locking mechanism could be a preferable solution.
Also included is an auxiliary handle that is adjustable to help ease of use. The handle is quickly adjustable with a wing nut fastener.
Power Scrubber Triangle Connector
A triangular connector is used on both the P4500 and the P4510 Power scrubbers to allow for interchangeable heads. Whether you’re using a bristle brush, a microfiber head, or a lambswool head, the triangular head makes switching between them a breeze.
Tire Cleaning
The Ryobi P4510 is IDEAL for cleaning tires on your motor vehicle. This is where we felt the scrubber “shined”. The scrubbers have an auto lock-on feature after holding the button for a second. Having the scrubbers lock-on reduces fatigue and allowed us to really dig deep into the grim on the tires. These tires came out shining like they were brand new.

Overall Impression
“Work smarter, not harder” is a phrase we have all heard before. Ryobi continues to develop tools that make working more efficient. These Ryobi Power Scrubbers may not appear to have a purpose, but we believe they do. We can use the scrubbers for washing decks, cleaning automobiles, or polishing your glass stove. These scrubbers are recommended if you use the Ryobi 18V ONE+ battery platform and like to make jobs easier.

Does it have a brushless motor (pardon the pun)? Seems to me a motor-dependant tool like this should ONLY have a brushless motor.
This power scrubber does not have a Brushless motor!
I think this would be a great tool to have but when I went to Bunnings to buy this it was $199 plus another $199 for the battery too much money Are you for real not having a battery with it
$149 at home depo with a battery and charger. Look around.
Prices are always changing
I love my scrubber but is there a way to lock the “on button” on? Every time my finger moves off the trigger it cuts off
