Re-Usable Glue Brush Eliminates Disposable Brushes
Once again someone has designed a product that I sure wish was my idea! Rockler recently introduced Silicone Glue Brushes as a re-useable alternative to disposable glue brushes. I recently started using these brushes around the shop and I want to share my thoughts on them.

How It Works
Rockler’s new Silicone Glue Brushes work the same way silicone cooking mats work. Most everyone is familiar with the new silicone cooking pads that bakers use. The silicone doesn’t allow food to stick to if when it’s burned. In the same way that silicone cooking pads work, Rockler’s Silicone Glue Brush works exactly the same.
I tested the new brushes using several glues including: Elmer’s Wood Glue, Elmer’s Wood Glue MAX and Gorilla Glue. All of the glue’s came off the brush when I removed it days later. The key is to let the glue dry, then peal it off the brush afterwards.
