If you ask me the TiBone 3 hammer is a carpenters dream!! You get what you pay for… Titanium hammers offer excellent vibration dampening, and the lighter weight metal translates to easier swings with less fatigue and impact on the nerves and tendons in the arm.
Performance – “Take the Vibration Challenge”
The true test to appreciate the TiBone 3 hammer vibration differences between titanium and a steel hammer is to strike them simultaneously on a concrete floor. You only have to do this once to see the benefits of titanium. This test is what sold my guys to start carrying and using Stiletto hammers.
Overall Thoughts
I’ve always liked the Stiletto TiBone hammer. The straight claw design helps pull nails easily without marring your work and the side nail puller gives awesome nail pulling leverage.
If you’re like me and are always looking to improve your performance, then this hammer is a tool you should check out.
My take away from the titanium vs. steel argument is that titanium’s primary ergonomic benefit is less recoil, with less fatigue being a secondary benefit.
After using this hammer for a while, I predict that you will see and feel a reduction in arm injury or pain caused by frequent heavy hammer use.
