Milwaukee® Introduces Most Compact 5/8” SDS Plus Hammer Drill on the Market
Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces the new 5/8” SDS Plus Rotary Hammer, the lightest and most compact tool in its class. At 10.9″ long and only 4.6 lbs, this hammer is ideal for drilling overhead and in tight spaces, yet powerful enough to drill the majority of holes commonly drilled by the professional trades.
“This disruptive solution is up to 40% lighter than competitive units and provides the user an excellent alternative to the larger, more cumbersome hammers they are using today,” says Rick Gambaccini, Group Product Manager for Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation. “With an innovative gear design and a drop motor to provide unmatched balance, this tool truly delivers dramatic change within the SDS Plus rotary hammer space.”
The 5263-21 also provides up to 65% faster drilling with 1.5 ft-lbs of impact energy and 0-3,700 RPM. The Anti-Vibration System (AVS™) delivers maximum user comfort by minimizing vibration.
As part of Milwaukee’s renewed dedication to rotary hammer development, the new 5/8” SDS Plus Rotary Hammer is one of several rotary hammers Milwaukee will launch in the coming months that deliver industry leading durability, performance and ergonomics. Milwaukee’s commitment to best-in-class durability is backed by the MILWAUKEE® Heavy-Duty 5-year tool/1-year service warranty.
