New Blog Wins Rookie-0f-the-Year Award in 2010 Tool Talkies
Our buddy Jay Amstutz over at CopTool.com is known for two things – his ability to spot a great blog a mile away and his finely tuned sense of sarcasm. Just in case we forget, Jay reminds us at the end of each year when he announces the winners of his Tool Talkies Awards. The Tool Talkies are Jay’s annual tongue-in-cheek and, by his own admission, purely subjective way of letting his readers know about some of the other great blogs covering tools, building products and the construction trades.
When the 2010 CopTool.com Tool Talkies list came out at the end of December, we got so caught up in all the inside jokes (“Most Likely to Break Out the Laser Tachometer” was genius!) that we almost missed that our very own ToolBoxBuzz was among the honorees. New to the scene but already garnering the accolades, ToolBoxBuzz won the Rookie of the Year Award for being the best new tool blog in 2010. Considering Tool-Rank.com was last year’s winner in the category and we really, really like that one, we’re all humbled to receive the nod this year.
For a complete list of winners, head over to 2010 CopTool.com Tool Talkies. And to our fellow honorees – Congratulations!
