Now Showing: THE CONCORD CARPENTER
TBB Writer & Tool Tester Debuts on Boston TV
Tool Box Buzz readers in the Boston area may have noticed a familiar face on their TVs this past weekend. The Concord Carpenter, which just started airing via Boston-area cable systems, was inspired by and is hosted by our very own resident tool junkie Rob Robillard. As many of you know, Rob hosts his own popular blog, A Concord Carpenter, and he’s fast earning a reputation as a skilled home improvement expert with an eye for little details. His no-nonsense way of delivering tips and tricks is winning fans and helping people get their projects right the first time.
Want a preview of Rob’s new show? Just click on the image to the right. You’ll see that he’s learned a lot of nifty tricks since he opened Robert E. Robillard Finish Carpentry & Renovation, LLC, a carpentry and renovation firm in Concord, Massachusetts. The best lesson he’s learned? “Well done is better than well said,” Rob shares. It’s a philosophy that has served Rob, his clients and his viewers well, whether he’s swinging a hammer himself or writing about the latest pneumatic finish nailer for his own blog or for Tool Box Buzz. He has a particular knack for coming up with creative solutions to common home maintenance problems, and he’s always happy to share. To say that Rob is one of those guys who eats sawdust for breakfast and wood chips for dinner probably isn’t an overstatement.
We here at Tool Box Buzz are glad to see Rob’s know-how and enthusiasm getting the attention it deserves. If you’re in the Boston area, tune in and check out The Concord Carpenter. There’s a good chance you’ll learn a thing or two from Rob, just like we have.

Hi Tool Box Buzz
my husband and i watched a SUPER You Tube video of yours
it compared about 10 different portable table saws…
my husband has selected… the Dewalt
please could you help with his question….(Below)
The DeWalt 7491 has 2 ports for the shop vac
How do i connect the 2 ports to one shop vac ?
You have to use a “Y” connector, a short hose, and attach both. It’s a pain for sure and not easy finding all the fittings. Good luck.
