Kreg Released New Cabinet Jigs

Kreg has release new cabinet hardware installation solutions that give DIYers easy to use jigs and professionals repeatable speed with accuracy.  These jigs provide adjustable mounting guides, durability, and accuracy with pro results. The three new cabinet hardware jigs will allow you to install knobs, pulls, concealed cabinet door hinges and drawer slides with ease.

Kreg’s New Cabinet Hardware Jig

Kreg’s new Cabinet Hardware Jig (Item# KHI-PULL) will make it easy to install new knobs and pulls.  The new jig will work on new custom built cabinets or upgrading your old cabinets.  This new jig is has features like adjustable hardened steel drill guides, moveable edge guide and built in measuring scales.  With these features you can repeat your settings to confirm every piece of hardware is spot on.

Kreg’ s New Concealed Hinge Jig

Kreg has a new jig to make it easy to install 35mm concealed cabinet hinges.  Once the Concealed Hinge Jig  (item# KHI- HINGE) is set this jig will assist the DIYER or professional woodworker with speed & accurate drilling.  The Concealed Hinge Jig does come with high quality carbide tipped drill bit.  This jig will give you drill press accuracy without the press.

KHI – HINGE Features:

• Durable – Glass-filled nylon
• Hinge compatibility – 35mm Cup style concealed hinges
• Hinge offset – 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm

Kreg’s New 35mm Concealed Hinge Bit

Kreg has just release their all new 35mm Concealed Hinge Bit (Item# KHI-BIT).  With this new bit you will be able to bore that perfect hole for concealed hinges.  Now this bit will be a direct replacement if you already have the Kreg Concealed Hinge Jig (Item# KHI- Hinge). The new high quality bit will be sold separately to allow you to cut clean holes while using your own technique.  Kreg’s new fasts cutting bit has four carbide cutters, two main cutters that bore a flat –bottomed hole and a pair of spur cutters that confirm clean hole edges free from tear out. Besides boring that perfect hole, the bit shank is sized to fit in the drill guide on the Concealed Hinge Jig.  If you like to use a collar stop, the shank has a shoulder that will position the collar stop perfectly (collar stop is included in the Concealed Hinge Jig, not available with bit only).  This is a high quality bit and works flawlessly with the Concealed Hinge Jig.  The new 35mm bit will work for you in your drill press and or any drill to give you that precision 35mm hole without the tear outs.
